The things that are fundamentally important to patients – light, comfort, colour – have really come through, and I would expect most of our KPIs to come down, from length of stay to mortality.

[The courtyard housing] really adds to the site and enhances the sense of community for the existing development. Its imaginative timber design and elegant courtyard garden has already made it a local talking point. It’s especially pleasing that the scheme is also very sustainable and helps sets a new standard for the neighbourhood. It has received a lot of admiring comments locally and we have already agreed the rental of half the homes, prior to their official release in September.

You've helped us to create something really special. In times like these, that's particularly precious.

My mum is currently in this hospital [The Midland Metropolitan University Hospital] and from both visitor and patient perspective I have to say it is amazing. Easy parking, greeters to help, clean wards that don't have the typical hospital smell, friendly staff all over the site, amazing meeting village concept on the 5 th floor and of course the fabulous medical staff. Mum was quite critical when she went in but is now doing really well. It has taken the stress out of visiting to see her in this space and the M&S and Costa staff are wonderfully friendly. [...] Once you get used to the lifts lol it is a great site !
